Finding a therapist can seem like a daunting task, especially when you need them most. Working with a patient, empathetic, and competent counselor is the goal of most people seeking counseling. The most critical component of therapy is the motivation of the individual to grow, develop, and make those difficult changes in order to meet their treatment goals. Acknowledging that you need support is the first and most important step of this process, and I am here to meet you at that threshold.

Much of my experience involves working with preteens, teens, and adults with a variety of life challenges. I provide a therapeutic environment that fosters safety and comfort. I have a secular approach to treatment.

Carolyn Turner, ACMHC

Hi, I’m Carolyn Turner, an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a background in crisis intervention. I have worked extensively with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, which has given me a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health. My eclectic approach to therapy allows me to tailor my methods to fit the unique needs of each person I work with.

My experience in crisis intervention has taught me how to provide compassionate and effective support, even in the most challenging situations. I genuinely care about my clients and their well-being. I am dedicated to helping them navigate their mental health journeys with empathy and professionalism.

Whether you are dealing with immediate crises or ongoing mental health concerns, I am here to help create a safe and supportive environment where you can find the help and healing you need. And do not worry, we’ll probably share a laugh or two along the way – after all, laughter is great therapy too!
